The Honourable Bernard Valcourt

Member of Parliament,

Minister of State for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and la Francophonie

Subject: BP Sports Oasis Project

Dear Mr. Valcourt:

Honourable Minister, please accept my congratulations on your appointment as minister in the cabinet of the Conservative government of Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada.

Truthfully, in the last election of May 2, 2011, I hoped for the victory of the Conservative Party because I think it can best represent us in government at this time, and also help me in the realization of this magnificent project which consists in improving the economy of the region as well as that of several regions where national parks are located in Canada.

Nonetheless, given your responsibilities as the Minister of State for ACOA, I am pleased to present to you the proposed BP Sports Oasis on which I have been working since 2006, a project of public and national interest, having three facets, namely economic, touristic and humanitarian and about which you can read on the Internet site www.BP-sportsoasis.com. This project is presented to you at this opportune time so that it can be submitted to the House of Commons when you return to Parliament in Ottawa after the holiday period. Consequently, it would be advantageous for you to learn more about it. Therefore, it would be good for us to meet in order for me to explain to you the entire project in detail.

Undoubtedly, with political will, as well as with your experience over the years, this project will be developed at the national level by 2015. Therefore, Mr. Valcourt, as an MP and minister, your help would be greatly appreciated by the population. This Lake Témis BP Sports Oasis is the model to be developed in various national parks in Canada for the good of the Canadian economy. What do you think of this?

Sincerely,

Donald G. Plourde

BP Oasis Sports Project Promoter
