It is obvious that municipal governments of the lake Témiscouata RCM and of northwestern New Brunswick, located in the lake Témis BP Sports Oasis sector, namely from Rivière-du-Loup to Grand Falls, including Fort Kent, Madawaska and Van Buren (in Maine) because they are also part of the legendary Republic of Madawaska, must take their responsibility and make available the equipment and facilities that are necessary for the good functioning of these excursions; the athletes as well as the public would greatly appreciate it if local officials organized a team of volunteers to help make this marathon a success. The potential customer base includes 10 million baby-boomers, scouts and non-scouts, in Canada who will soon be retiring and 28 million registered scout members in the world, as well as 100 million former scouts, who will be looking for outdoor activities such as those practiced in the oases. Therefore, the success will be assured for a better economy in the sector of the BP Sports Oasis.
